Some of the singers we’ve had come through.. These are the good ones..  Taken some time hit the singers with actual chops… to

All different..  all killer fun to play with…   Some we said no to.. others said no to us..  Still trying to find a good fit for all.. Mostly just busting out covers on the first meet..  was a fair amount of real time iphone guitar tab searching going on in these..  audio gold guaranteed..

George Walt – Good ol’ Led Zep

Joe – Cali rockin on the fly cover

Brian – White noise

Mike – Seether Cover

A small portion of a song i’m trying to create from a recording I made a good while back of a mate that plays Didge..   a very different idea trying to write to a mostly monotone instrument..  cool though.. I hate the hi-hat in this but it’s a very early export.. gonna be a loooong song I suspect..  but thats cool.. i’m not out to wow people with beats or riffs in this one..  just aiming for a cool vibe..  mix needs work, but hell.. i’m making it up as I go!..  any advice on direction from here would be cool..

Here’s one we did ages ago!!! This is roughly 12 months old, there’s 2 versions, 1 with vox and an extended version without vox, its all very un-pollished, but i really like this track, I think Tim’s Vox were something about war but you guys can correct me in the comments, black bird hang’in in the sky line is killer…So let us know if this a track worth persuing…Screw it i’m calling this one Black Bird, Enjoy…

Black Bird (W/O Vox Extended)

Black Bird (w/Vox)

Okie Dokie, so this is from, hmmmm early 2010, has a unique feel and plan to do something with this, sent to a few of the guys for vocal ideas but i think they though WTF! lol, anyway have a squiz and see what you think….

The 1

Late Summers afternoon,
Esky dragged from van, over shrub filled hills, parting soft sloping sand,
Low slung Sun floods copper tones, a fire pit parted,  the evenings home.
The first Coca Cola™ is pulled, with the ice done it’s need,
And with a hint of a theatrical pause – metallic cap – is free’d.
“timp-op”
And with that simple sound….
       The party is started….

A live home recording of George and I writing and working on a tune..  Dont think the band ever really took a shine to this song, but I think it’s one of my better ones..  I never totally finished it..  Foot timing stomps and background prompting are loud due to the wood floors and high celing in the loungeroom – an awesome room for acoustic jamming though..  Live off the field recorder.

What are you expecting? A smooth soulful ballard? A quiet self reflecting folk song? Nup. You know what to expect: Killer vocal aggression, sick riffage, mind blurring beats… “DTN” is happy to hit you in the face – just to watch the teeth fly, both fists, full of their unique blend of thrash and hardcore in this one.
