DJTH – Soundtrack (Black Bird)

Here’s one we did ages ago!!! This is roughly 12 months old, there’s 2 versions, 1 with vox and an extended version without vox, its all very un-pollished, but i really like this track, I think Tim’s Vox were something about war but you guys can correct me in the comments, black bird hang’in in the sky line is killer…So let us know if this a track worth persuing…Screw it i’m calling this one Black Bird, Enjoy…

    Well as it was,.. she was a dead ender, I think I know why you both abandoned this one, it didn't seem to go anywhere much, and Tim would have been better off not trying to sing every second of the tune, he never took a breathe infact. But this has the sound of an early take, I doubt you pair were anywhere close to finished, and maybe you were just bouncing ideas off each other at this time for further direction and insertions so it shouldn't really be judged as if it was on the brink of being finished. I'm convinced to think this way, considering the rollercoaster worth of adventure this partnership puts into these finished or close to finished tunes, so my guess would be, this project would have been in it's particular infancy, a mere head and tail in development, no legs or lungs as such at that stage.

    It’s got the grooves, a solid vocal line, and a cool live sound.. but it kinda feels like it’s missing something.. which as a rawcut is not a bad place to be in… the hard work is pretty much done.. the odd breaks and fills are always the most fun in my opinion..
    DJ and TH are getting quite a stock pile of killer mid complete tunes.. and yeah.. im envious…
