DJTH – Timp-op

Late Summers afternoon,
Esky dragged from van, over shrub filled hills, parting soft sloping sand,
Low slung Sun floods copper tones, a fire pit parted,  the evenings home.
The first Coca Cola™ is pulled, with the ice done it’s need,
And with a hint of a theatrical pause – metallic cap – is free’d.
“timp-op”
And with that simple sound….
       The party is started….

Lovely crisp full sound of that recording Daiyv, it puts Fruity to a ten thousand year nap!,.. I sure as hell wish Fruits could mimmick the pet tickles of your bottlenecked beasts,.. damn,.. were they fruity drums???.. I doubt it,.. and if they were,… :@ I want to know a secret and I promise not to tell! *bawling and squealing,… As usual, a highly appealing composition from you, I absolutely love your brand of classy metal,.. I am a soft-cock, easily traumatisd by things that are too grungeful and grudgeful, like an angle-grinder down the spine,.. but you have an ability to insert a 'magical' effect,.. it's like you can hear a harp in your metal, when there is no harp at all,.. and that's not even a metaphor for heaven! , *trademark squeals once again,.. very impressive, influential and grateful to listen to.

As for the estranged brother who I bore into a dim slumber on a horrifyingly regular basis,..a great layout of vocals, complimentary licks, slotted nicely like a cleaver tick down a fish from head to tip, a nice tone, emoted pretty well, an enviable lazer sharp integral buzz, humming bird wings for vocal 'flaps' ,.. just the phrasing of language needs a shapely pinch, but I managed to form an interpretation of sorts, so it's not much of a tissue issue really,..

If you two, stacked your collabs like tracks to an albulm, what a compact beast it really is,.. a column tote without twists, no scratchings,.. excellent stuff.

    daang…. where to start..
it's all just goodness wrapped up in an edgy cant help myself wrapping… with the home appliances you guys have, this is pretty much a state fair winning cake.. .. what I dont like?.. hmm… well – the usual complaint from me – over compressed – felt like it was choked when it could have sucked fresh air and spoken it's full intention (yep, mangrove influence in the descriptions)… But to break it down… yeh.. full blow heah… the song is killr.. once again tims vocals just supprise the hell out of me.. heavy and to the point, but still has emotion.. damn.. this is gonna take another post for more thoughts…
    basically,
not as polished as it could be, but I think i'd like it the most as is.. the raw edge gives it attitude and drive – basically sells it..

    hmm…

    85% for me…. pretty damn good…

oh yeah… love the damn hook at the end of "runnin.. she's runnin – eoOHH!"…nice non intentional hook that somehow err, hooks itself in the brain.. tap tap tap – – – – eoOHH!…

soooo…..this one is………..well……..unfinished…….lol, ok so how to describe this track, well unfinished is right, me and tim started recording this around ,fuck a while ago and we played for a few weeks on the odd day adding parts, tim has done multiple takes for certain parts of this and what your listening to is a hybrid of ideas mashed together for the track. I had a general direction for the track but we hadn't got that far, but i sent track ideas to brad whilst drinking beers on given weekends to see what he thought, well B-Rad got annoyed that we hadn't finished/posted something so he posted this as a "fuck you i'm posting it, its full and sounds good" kind of dealie, more or less…..

My thoughts thus far is that its a pop version of what me and Tim usually do, with some signature sounds sprayed throughout, thanks mangrove for the super kind comment above….

So i'll try to get in contact with Tim and finish this one, should really be in RAWCUTS but just to let you know, i have a whole vault full of shit i'll be posting in the next few weeks from the last……oooh 12 months or more of unfinished/fuck around/wayward tracks….most of them will apear in the RAWCUTS section and then we'll decide if they are worthy/funny/idiotic…..watch this space for more soon….

Rawcuts Dave? pshhh… it think its pretty bloody good as is.. I really think continual tinkering does more harm than good on a tune that already has the hooks and grooves working so well together.. I wouldnt be against some minor structure shuffling to break it up a bit, but that'd be about it from my viewpoint.. If a further tinkered version ever appears it can take pride of place here with a reference back to this one.. Would be an interesting side by side look at the tunes progression..

Ok attempt 2 at a coherent response….lol, i left a comment the other day whilst seriously impaired (ok properly fucked up is more accurate) and it was actually so embarrassingly idiotic i had to have another crack, ok here we go:

Jack – Dee-rums are ezdrummer plugin straight through Reaper, i'm actually not as happy with these as i'd hoped so far, brads right seriously over compressed but never fear! i'll bring them back from the dead….but compressor can do wonders for drums, it gives them the punchy feel i think is needed on most tracks specially pop-metal tracks and provided you dont go overboard like i have, then they do make all the difference but i can seriously recommend either ezdrummer or addictive drums plugins, both equally good in their own ways…

B-Rad – I definitely see what you're saying, too much tweakidge is badness, and i too like the raw kind of edge some of our tracks have, although this track for me isn't even at the tweaking stage yet, the structure doesn't really exist as its a mash-up of potential ideas for the track and there is almost no polish on it, having said that i'd like to finish this one for proper and have the side by side comparison, i really feel if i can suck out the potential i had hoped for this then it will be like night and day……i have a good feeling but lets not hold our breath…after all i'm notoriously bad at ever finishing anything, ever.

Damn Dave stumble across this number and she is a stunner.
I love the background track you did with this it’s more than I imagined.
It’s shear brilliance and appears to ripen with age. Two completely different versions of this tune.
Vocally I stayed on pitch with George and threw some screams in here and there but I think the standout is the tune. The way it cuts and changes And the way you have stuck with the chordes in the song. Brilliant agree with the rest. And was easy to slot the vocals in on it because of the work you put in.
    Brilliant’e
