I like it!, lol,.. it does remind me of something I’ve heard before though??.. Your voice completely changes from one song to the next lol,.. you were close to Greenblob in ‘Talk to me’ ,.. then you turned into Ian Curtis from Joy Division in ‘Circus Imperium’ ,.. this time you kind’ve remind me of the Steve Miller band, an absolute CHAMELEON,.. all bloody good though, you don’t choke like a chained mauler like I, a fucken terror to the ears.

I really do like this though sir,.. I mean the worst thing in the world is a boring, clumped, tune that seems to drag on forever,.. but this has a nice, stunted, curvey structure to it. So why not keep it going?… I don’t have a problem with the lyrics, they can be cute if they wish.

Not a bad little song idea.. Really like the 1st verse and pre Ch. It builds really well. The chorus delivery is a little weak to suit the build up though imo. I think it needs something more to sell the chorus hook (which is catchy as hell).

I like the feel of the song.. Simple and groovy.. you could really go crazy experimenting with different ideas from this solid base.. Not sure what direction your going to lean it, but keen to hear the results of whatever it becomes..

I have no idea where it is going to go. Or if it will be produced further.

Dc, so i was thinking this would benefit from speeding the tempo up, heaps, and then make it a little more rough distorted and messy, it would be totally pumping as a punk style song….i like the basic melody but it sounds super slow for some reason…speed it up! speed it up! what could it hurt to try? i'm talking almost double the tempo…lol maybe i've lost my mind, who knows….cheap trick? lol, they had some decent songs i guess, but the front man looked like a 45 year old woman…lol, well 45-50 to be fair…..lol..was the song surrender by any chance?

    Yep – thats the song.

Like I said, I'm not even sure it will be one I work on or not. I like the lyrical concept, and could see Avril or one of the other pop-guitar chicks singing it. But yeah – speeding it up might work.

Totally agree DC.. To me it has the most appeal by heading in one of two very different styles. Either a slightly sped up pop rock tune with an attitude filled fem vocalist (Avril esque was exactly what I was thinking!)… or, on the total opposite end of the scale, an acoustic stoner tune in this tempo, with lots of harmonies on the vox and exaggerated guitar FX iin parts.. that could be really cool too.. the chorus is kinda cheesy as is.. it's just waiting for the right style to make it work..

Yeah I second that, a Femme vocalye, could do this a sweet twist of the whisker, grab the drumstick of your 'Pretenders' chicklette and give her a spin DC,.. Brad has pinged the tobacco pot with a gemstone of advice there,.. well done Mr Green, your in control of the Senate aswell buddy!… Woo hooo!..
