The first real jam of a new song idea. Came together really fast – about 30 mins at this point. That rarely happens for us.
Brad got a bit carried away in the solo – but its was just a jam.. so no harm no foul..
Vocals are totally unwritten at this point. Any ideas on style?
Hey mate, this is good. I like the vibe it has going on and would be great as a pub rock song, i could see myself sipping some beerskies to this for sure. The change to the chorus is really nice, i like the very first change chords that lead into the chorus the first time round and the chorus chords themselves fit very nicely. I think that solo is more creative than your norm too, the first half of it is very cool, really like the staggered held back feel.
Overall i like the sound, will be interesting to hear what type of vocal line is put on it and could really pump up the song in a good way…

Thats really good mr blob. Especially the chorus part. Gnreat chord changes and voicings. Very nicely written. The band clutch comes to mind ( john would be proud) do a you tube clip of burning beard and listen to the vocalist. Definitely on the verse i can hear a clutch style approach. Chorus bridge….probably the same with interesting melody. It would be cool if the chorus vox was a unique line with interesting runs that jump around rather than stay close to chorus notes if that makes any sense. Anyhow itll be interesting to hear more on this. You guys gonna play it on the 12th? Good job and good recording.
