Like the conceptual structure men, like it, like it, Laif’s skittish verbritto on the symbol in the beginning was a sizzler, ssssss, like frying a sausage, liked the echo lick from G in quick dabs of abrupt silence, then Brad rode out on his broomstick for the end game, but.. why didn’t we let Jefa into the jerk circle so to speak?.. I want some circulation, I want some role play, it’s ofcourse important that you work together well, but..Im hoping you insert just a little more spatial atmosphere, some defragmentation, step forward and introduce yourselves, 1 of 4 horseman of the apocolypse at various times, the way KISS distinguished themselves with thier face-paints, but you guys dont have to tart up your appearances, just do so musically, particularly you three at the back with some entangled roots. To the guy at the front, I have a feeling you’re a natural bass-baritone, a bass-baritone with rasp, you lucky bastard, be sure to show off some more of your natural low registers.

In my opinion, it’s all about that very, very delicate subtle balance chaps, a good riff is ofcourse important, that’s not to say Brad didnt execute it well, it was just a flatliner to me, needed a good chest blast with electrical irons, lets get excited and start clapping the swarm of fishbowl fire-flies, but I want to see all your faces through my long erected rabbit ears.

    Keep it up, 3 stars.

Great song. I would of liked to hear the lead vocals a little louder. Maybe bring in the awesome jam a little earlier. I think I could make some good turns skiing with this rocking in my ear. Nice Job. Look forward to hearing more.

mangrove: i hear ya.. this song is much more rocking live.. jeffs bass is much more prominent then.. weve been having some trouble getting the bass to blend into the recordings while still having its own place.. it’s not a volume issue – if we turn him up a tweek and the whole track "woofs" out with bass saturation – may be an eq thing or a compression issue, but everything weve tried so far doesnt seem to help.. he’s playing some nice shifted parts in this, but yeah, its really hard to hear.. we kinda wanted this song to just pump along for the most part, thus no bass breaks or huge dynamic shifts after the intro/verse.. were working on some more dynamic stuff at the moment that gives everyone there own feature.. it really helps some songs along.. .. nice pick up mate..

Cheers Brad, I just thought I’d throw my dick into the log filled with jam like a gorilla, thats to say I just put my number in the barrell, it’s a very delicate balance I’d wager, and I’d just love for you all to really establish your presence, because usually I tend to find that so much of the focus in time begins to revolve around the front man, and that is only natural being the centre-front narrator, secondary comes the lead guitarist, loud and high in treble and focused on intensely during solo’s in particular, but there is always the danger of the drummer and especially the bass receding into the dark, and it’s a little sad because the bass and drums are such kool fucking instruments, I’d love to see a track where you and Jefa have a little bit of a ‘dance off’ ..like a planned fight through your gear, you know?.. argue to one another in guitar and bass solo’s ?… know what I mean? lol … and try and book Laif’ as many aggressive thrashes on the end of melody hooks or, allow him to create the platform especially in the beggining, to set the stage and tempo I just personally love the sound of a bare drumbeat in the beggining and then having the instruments congregate piece by piece, I think in the long-run it helps with spatial listening, as you have in memory the roles of each instrument and can appreciate the weight of the track. But you know, there is always the danger of the track becoming a bit wayward and herky jerky in saying all this, because working together is just as, if not more important, so I’m really only speaking about minor intangibles,…but ONLY to be inserted, IF you feel the oppurtunity presents itself, so you’ll keep that very subtle balance. I hope there’s something you can use in my constant drivelling, being the experienced musicians that you are I really wouldnt blame you if you all rolled your eyes and made the wanking gesture reading my posts lol.

Oh and ^ DAN WILLYERD,.. thank you very much for listening and for your comments, they are very welcome, this site is a bit sparse for listeners at the moment, my utter, utter, utter, treacherous bastard brother ‘Haverack’ refuses to post much anymore, so it’s good to see some new members coming in and contributing in his absence.
