Nate Rose – Adhere

Here is a song I wrote with a 3-man band (Nate Rose Group) I was in, the bass and drums were done by Cal Eddings (bass) and John Robinson (drums)–wrote this in 06 as well, mellow and catchy in my opinion, we didn’t write alot together but what we did write and perform out live was a lot of fun. thanks for listening.

this one feels a bit like tumbling through space with maynard talking my way through it. It somehow lacks the feel for being a complete song. But neither the less very well sung song the drumidge was extremely on target and the bass was damn nice two. If this was a feed at K.F.C it would be a three piece deluxe…this work has set the whole sites new standard well done.

have to agree with Mr Tim above.. a really nice tune that would benefit greatly from an obvious hook/break or something.. maybe just before the chorus.. i like that it meanders along but seems to be wandering off into the mist.. maybe a bit of distortion behind the final 3rd of the song… i dunno.. i wish i had this in my collection to mess more with!.. youve got some skills mate.. but thats pretty obvious i guess..
    when are we jamming again?

Man, like this one alot. Has a really cool feel ,layed back and melow like you say with some catchy hook line vocals spread out. I’m getting a hidden away incubus vibe from this which i really like (hopefully not an insult to you guys) but really enjoyed it from start to finish.I agree with brad thinking this could be really cool with some added clarity through studio recording (although its sounds quite good) you could emphasize your pensonality through some really polished recording. Really dig this one man.

You know what? ,.. I was bouncing up and down on my hollow skull like a pogo stick at the beginning, dont ask me how I do this, it just happens, Im going to talk to a bishop next month about it, but anyway, after registering the song through once, I was convinced it was a boring reel, but it had a great ending, then something must have snapped in my mind, to the gnut of a broken box, and I began to think of the song as a whole,… would the end be as astounding as it was if you didnt build it up in the way that you did? had I inherited a little brain damage?.. I suppose a few more whistles and bells through the first 2 quarters may have preened the animal for the show sure, that’s what I think Tim and Brad are CRUELLY relating to in thier SCATHING attacks above, but a ‘build up’ is one of the most effective and sensational constructions, a real spike in the punch, to be enjoyed by all when orchestrated well, and I really appreciate your contributions in total and think your song ‘Deep’ is a hit, and is up there with the best on this site so far. Thank you so much for sharing your work, I am voraciously eager for more, it’s scrumptious stuff.
