Pay attention now – This is deadly serious. From the depths of pop culture, comes a new band destined for stardom, from left to right the band (keith – vocals, tom – drums, stevie whales – guitar and robin – bass) hubristicly strike a chord with audiences from far and wide and touch on some of the key dynamics that make or break most bands in its wake. Enjoy…

This is like nothing on the site. was this inspired by the Muppets? I know jim hendersons dead but you have kept him alive with this.
You probably pushed the little daisy a bit too much here Brad.
Ill revisit this one later at the moment its so hard to judge.
Its like a giant fuck up thats not a fuck up…..I know what this is its confusing???? cool man keep it up great stuff… i think????
A joyful little jitter,.. but the 'description' confuses me,… vocals – Keith?,,,.. I thought this was a rawcut,.. but, there is potential in it,.. definitely,.. I liked the character of it, and the music was pleasant in bursts,… Brad,.. who is Keith?..
Right this is crazy shit..Brad are you drunk? Or stoned? or both?.
Or should i call you Keith? Really fucked and funny and at least it gets rid of the billboard sitting in number 1 position
hahaha, nice comments guys and you hit on a couple of points there:
"giant fuck up thats not a fuck up"
and
"I thought this was a rawcut"
This was late sat night (aus time) and many drinks later, we came up with the concept for a laugh of a made up band that all hate each other, this was spossed to be like a practice / recording session of a band who hates each other so much they are constantly doing things to fuck each other up.
So we tried to make it as "rawcut" / practice session sounding as we could, which surprisingly is harder than it sounds, brad did shit loads of character sounds and outtakes which we slotted in and basically wrote the track in this frame of mind….
So lots of little discepancies in there, love some of the characters brad cam up with like the selfish arrogant vocalist that always blames everyone and everything on his poor vocals….lol and the gay bass player that ignores the fighting going on in the background….Overall this was hell fun to come up with the idea then execute, we flew through the production purely because of the aim and direction being known from the start so out of this fuck around i'm figuring out better way of writing and recording without wondering off course, not sure what you guys will think knowing the back story but would love to hear if it changed the way you hear the song for a second listen….
Ahhh,.. yes, now I see,.. the concept indeed caught me by suprise because, sometimes hearing jams, I hear a little bit of added speech,..I figured it might of been Brad having a jockular crack on the run,.. sounds like you both had a spot of fun with it,.. By all means, keep up the unorthodox stylings,.. and it's nice,..*fingers crossed* to be able to submit an order,… ok,..here we go,..I'm about to click the post button,..
i wish Brad would comment a little more? Where is he these days? He throws something up the picks his puppets and and thats it we've lost him..He used to be a regular commenter a host even>
Sounds like it would be fun to make this sorta shit you know like SLIPKNOT hahahahha> Different characters available for different instruments>hah
Jack! i see no post, but i know its not far away and looking forward to it after away from human beings, haha nice Tim, Slipknot, so many chars to do….but its a fun concept, i still haven't forgot how much brad laughed on this track, i think he even started to cry at one stage…..haha, its just what i needed, something fun and something to reignite the creative spark….
Dave.
Oh, I meant I wasn't able to submit forum posts/comments for a good week or so, it wasn't displaying the 'author' tab, and it was riddled with pc code,.. but now she's up again,..great news, I'd been itching to post for a while.
But on the subject,.. I have made alot of stuff, however,.. all of it was not good enough,.. not even for the rawcuts section,.. they were thrown, mostly due to structural issues,.. but I've got two that are slight improvements that could be done soon, learning all the way.
Oh yep on the same page now, yeah brad asked if we could clean up the amount of inputs it displayed too make it easier and less of a roadblock for people to comment, it worked but not dynamically unfortunately, so the forums ended up broken and then the comments shortly after that so i just removed all the dodgy code and whalla! isn't it funny how if you dont play with things that ain't broken they dont break? lol and sweet to hear more on the way, the site could do with a fresh load as its been slim pickins lately….
this is so damn dodgy and daft that I totally love it.. I had a fun as hell time making this – just being a fool into the mic and not taking anything too seriously really makes making noise fun.. haha.. I need some schooling on daves drum prog process.. he gets a killer sound on everthing he does – and he put all this together in one pretty short evening of skype chatting.. killer..
Had no idea what people would think of it.. Head scratching confusion was what we were kinda hoping for – so on that front – I deem it a total success!.. The 1st few comments had me grinning like an idiot.. was expecting to be totally shot down.. specially with Keiths pitch perfect outro notes!.. fun times indeed….
That's great to hear Brad, I share your spirit, especially in regards to entering the tracks on here as a motivation in mind. I completely believe you when you say you were looking for confusion, knowing a simple skinny of the song in the description box would have avoided all the WTF's ?.. lol .. and you HAVE used that utensil to define your songs before, so YES, you bastard, you drew the required silk out of the siamese worms, haha. A fun little track, keep them coming!
Love band rehearsals like this!
Would love to hear more from this "band"
Well done!
Love the guitar tones.
LOVE THE MIC WENT FLAT HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
