Shoulda been in the rawcuts I think,.. I laughed at the ending,.. but I cant take this one very seriously,.. the transitions were as choppy as a yakuza trying to grate ginger bread sticks with no bones about it. I did go away laughing though, so there was something to be had,.. that abrupt zulu-scotsman jive right at the end was a classic,.. like wtf?.. but effective,.. why not try a zulu-scotsman fusion one day?… it may very well work..

38% ,.. definitely not ya best,.. but not a bad reflection on your abilities to produce better, as you obviously can and do most of the time.

thanks for the comment jack…i used a pitch shitfer to make the melody for the last bit it was a sample of a scream in this song. I am trying a new recording method so thats why she may sound a bit chopy.i couldnt be bothered trying to finish her so i left it at that. I thought she was ok short and sweet. I wanted this metal sound for trials of a bear part 2.
But we all fucken hated that suckker. Have been really unhappy with my guitar sound lately. I desperately need an upgrade. Anyways thanks for the comment mate.

I dont think everybody hated Trials of a bear,..from memory I think I was the only one in the end that felt it was a whole lot of effort for nowhere near the reward, and a waste of your time and talent to work on it further. However if you were having fun making it, and based on your own tastes, liked the sound and journey of it, I really did not want to deterr an activity you were enjoying, and should have made it clearer at the time. In the very least, Trials had a different, unusual sound, the genre itself is rarely ever produced in comparison to 4 minute tracks,.. but in saying that, the worst song ever made in the world, "Save it" by Mangrove Jack,.. an accident of too many lyrics stuffed into compareably short key-changes, was ‘unusual and different’ aswell,.. so,.. you have ya bad unusuals and your good unusuals,…atleast ‘Trials’ had decent music to accompany it.

Hey Mate, don’t mind this little short and sweet, i’m guessing aphex twin played a part in the influence department here? kindof a crazy style but i like how it’s interesting and the changes keep me guessing….really like the softer part in the middle….always like listening to your stuff Tim and can’t wait for more updates….ps if you see me online give us a bell as i have many tracks for you!!

It’s hard to comment on a style of music that you are not familiar with, not knowing the goal of the production – for example, I don’t know if the sound of angry bees is what you were going for with the guitars or not. If so, you nailed it. IN listening to the first half+ of the song, I think I actually feared for my life. My imagination took me to some dark London alley with deformed people dressed in Victorian ear gowns trying to hunt me down and eat me.

:> Tee hee hee!, that’s the spirit DC,.. Noteable quoteables are part of the Freelabel game too, it’s the other interesting dimension to this website, really good to see creative writing, Jefa would contribute creatively aswell,……. but then,.. he passed away .. :'( ,.. he must have done,.. I haven’t seen any comments from him in months… *tears streaming prefusively.. he must be dead.

cut paste and patched with a touch of blending. Wasn’t really happy with it kinda song that i was glad to hear had ended.
Mindset in it was obviously the 3 changes within the song. I think im trying to find that mix of heavy and soft..I think you can get them together to make it work and sound right may require more than a singstar mic and outdated equipment.Still…..(best bang for the buck the singstar mic)
Nah got a new mic ordered sm57 shure….I hope she works.
yes and that London shit is exactly what i was going for….Welcome to my brain dc..

Ahh we all have our duds mate,.. there is no better example than me, I’ve had around 7 in a row,.. the only one that I felt had a touch of potential was High-rise,.. but as it was, it still failed pretty badly,.. Beings is ‘ok’ ,.. it got a better reception so far than I expected, probably a bit more than it really deserves but, that is not for me to judge, I think flops are a benefit, a good hearty flop keeps you on your toes, makes ya sustain concerntration, good for what ails ya, had it not been for a few comments telling me the unrestrained truth, I’d probably still be pumping out the same sickening shiiiiiiit, instead of improving,.. ever so slowly, but, improving nevertheless.
